I am going to tell you about top 5 places in Uttarakhand known for its natural beauty which will give you life time experience, but first let me give you a short description on Uttarakhand.
Uttarakhand is one of the state in North India. This place is well known as Devbhoomi also, as it is a pilgrimage spot and many holy temples are situated here. It is one of the most peaceful state where in mountains you can meditate and adore the nature. You will find very kind people here who will help you in every way (most of them are pahadi’s who belongs to Garhwal and kumaon region and speaks Garhwali and kumaoni languages). If you are travelling to Uttarakhand try to explore more and every hill station over here because every road here will show you way to heaven and the best sceneries.

Places you must visit in Uttarakhand:


1.     Dehradun: It is the capital of Uttarakhand and a place you can’t miss. This place has so much to discover. Mussoorie (Queen of hills) is 35km from Dehradun from where you can get mesmerizing views and sceneries. Some of the tourist points are:
 Sahastradhara, Lacchiwala, Forest Research institute, Tapkeshwar mandir, Kempty fall, Mall road, Gun hill, Robber’s cave.

2.     Binsar: Need a break from your daily life, mobile phones, hectic schedule and city life, then this place belongs to you. This hill station is totally untouched and especially for peace lover’s. It is situated in Almora district and have a bird sanctuary. You may get to see more than 200 species of birds in this sanctuary.  This valley is surrounded from deodar trees. Don’t miss visiting zero point in Binsar from where you may get 300 degree view of Himalayas. Some of the tourist spots are: Binsar zero point, Bineshwar Mahadev temple, Binsar Sanctuary Museum.

Keep in mind: Before going here pre-book hotels or home stays and you will get limited electricity in Binsar so don’t waste it.









3.      Jim Corbett Park: It’s the nirvana for photographers and wildlife lovers. This place is situated in Nainital District. You can enjoy jeep safari here and may get to see Bengal tigers and many more species of animals, reptiles and birds. Kosi River flows here and also you can enjoy riverside peace, gazing cloudy mountains while fishing in this riverside. Some of the tourist places to visit here are: Corbett Museum, Corbett Waterfall, Garjia temple, Jhirna range, Dhikala range, Birjani range.







4.      Nainital: You must have seen this place in bollywood movies like, Koi mil gya, Vivaah, Sirf tum, kati patang. This place one of the most popular destination for couples and families. This place is a total package for every age group. You can stay at camps here and adore the beauty of nature. This place will give you life time experience and mesmerizing views which you will never forget and regret.
